GRIELZ SHIELD mission is to design and develop a variety of modernized sports apparel items that transforms a style of fashion to a "decree of safety." Our endeavor is to extend personal protections when inadvertent or unknown exposure to viruses, germs, and bacteria become high-risk contagions. Safety is a global challenge to protect millions of athletes, fans, and communities. The COVID19 Pandemic has made us all more aware while also encouraging heightened safety measures. GS products can be an effective yet protective game changer. GS's goal is achievable through usage and wear of apparel items that promote health defense and aid to expand safety measures.
We developed a trademark apparel logo brand, GRIELZ SHIELD, desiring to improve health immunity with an ingenious safeguard measure. Our apparel items have an inverted (welt) pocket attachment to stow, retrieve, and safeguard mouth pieces (Braces/Invisalign) game notes, lip balm and more. The inverted pocket is designed on most of our fabric athletic gear: Arm and leg sleeves, face coverings and neck gaiters. GS has also revolutionized safety products like hand sanitizer wristlet bands, stitched swagger head gear (skull caps & beanies), and rebranded mouth pieces (mouth guards) to help proffer other safety parameters with quick accessibility and comfort. The Grielz Shield Journey
Our Grielz Shield Journey began in 2017 while enjoying a sports event. GS is not just an entrepreneurial adventure; thus, it’s a humane aspiration to extend individual safety parameters while being entertained by athletes that participate in the populous of sports. As parents of an athlete, we often contemplated physical safety but not necessarily oral or nasal safety. We became more concerned about oral health when an orthodontist prescribed braces but also recommended a specific type be worn during the activities of sports. It alerted us to figure a way to keep an expensive teeth protector safe and free from exposure to germs as much as possible - so we brainstormed!
Suddenly, our desire was to design a sports apparel that could provide a method for our son-athlete like others to self-protect their oral hygiene. Certainly, millions of athletes inadvertently ingest germs during sport interactions whether from touching or other transmittable modes. However, ingesting germs relating a safety device like a mouthpiece or Dental Invisalign can become extremely harmful. Let's face it, all sport participants are at risks from the transfer of unknown susceptibilities by exchange of sports equipment. This was a "light bulb" moment to create a solution to an invisible yet imminent health concern. So, Grielz Shield decided to upgrade and improve the antiquated apparel line of sport sleeves. Grielz Shield added an inverted pocket to offer athletes a method to safeguard and secure one of the most vital, yet sensitive protectors utilized during physical sports. Promoting oral defense is literally a "game-changer" and our family wanted to present this viable and safe solution. This was the beginning quest for Grielz Shield to set sail on an entrepreneurial fam-ship of opportunities with unwavering innovations!
